SPECTRUM ION-X Softening Resin SRSO – 25 Litre Bag

Price range: £125.00 through £4,000.00

Designed to provide softened water within both commercial and industrial applications, the SPECTRUM SRSO is a high capacity, gel type sulfonated polystyrene cation resin supplied in the sodium form as moist, tough, uniform spherical beads, which removes hardness ions (calcium and magnesium) in exchange for sodium ions. Typically used in pressure vessels or empty cartridge shells for smaller applications this resin with its high bead integrity, excellent chemical and physical stability coupled with very low extractable content is ideal for use in general and sensitive/critical applications.

SPECTRUM SRSO resin operates through a process called ion exchange. It releases sodium ions into the water and captures calcium and magnesium ions, effectively softening the water by reducing its hardness. The regeneration process involves passing a sodium chloride (salt) solution through the resin bed to replace the captured hardness ions (calcium and magnesium) with sodium ions.

Features

SPECTRUM SRSO resin offers several advantages, including high bead integrityexcellent chemical and physical stability, and very low extractable content. These properties make it ideal for both general and sensitive/critical water softening applications.
