How do Spectrum Filter Cartridges Work?
Filter cartridges remove particles in water and other liquids by trapping them on the surface of the filter, or inside the filter itself. At Aquacover we have a range of cartridges with different purposes, for example:

Carbon cartridges to treat chlorine, chloramine, organics, and heavy metals.
Surface filtration cartridges to target a specific size of contaminant, particularly large particles.
Depth filtration cartridges to remove contaminants of different particle sizes at once.
Medical filtration cartridges to remove legionella and other bacteria.

Liquid filters can effectively remove a wide range of contaminants, including:

Suspended solids: particles, debris and sediment.
Microorganisms: bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens.
Chemicals: organic and inorganic compounds, pollutants, and solvents.
Odours and Tastes: filters can improve the taste and odour of water by removing certain compounds.
Oils and Grease: in industrial applications, filters can remove oil and grease from water and other liquids.
