Nitrate often reaches surface and groundwater via runoff from agricultural activities, such as usage of fertiliser which often contains nitrate. When used correctly, SRNI cartridges reduce toxic nitrate levels below WHO limits of 50mg/L, exchanging harmful nitrates for chloride ions.
Typical applications include private water supply and aquatics.
