Ecosoft ECOMIX® A – Filter Media 12L and 25L – for purifying water with moderate organic content
£62.00 – £130.00Price range: £62.00 through £130.00
Ecosoft ECOMIX® A filter media 12 L and 25 L is an advanced multi-component material designed to purify well or tap water with moderate organic content. It effectively removes hardness, iron, manganese, ammonium, and organic matter, ensuring clear and pleasant-tasting water for everyday use. The media combines ion exchange and sorption functions in a single blend, replacing multiple filtration stages and simplifying system design.
ECOMIX® A ensures stable performance even when the quality of source water changes seasonally, providing reliable protection for your home and equipment. The material is ACS certified for use in potable water applications.

Is it necessary to install a sediment filter before ECOMIX® A?
Yes, it is highly recommended. Fine particles can clog the media surface and reduce ECOMIX® A efficiency.
How does TDS change after treatment with ECOMIX® A?
TDS may increase by about 10% compared to the original level. This occurs because hardness cations are replaced with harmless sodium ions during ion exchange.
Can the tank be completely filled with ECOMIX® A?
No. The tank must have at least 40% freeboard above the ECOMIX® A bed to ensure proper regeneration.
Can ECOMIX® A be used for iron and manganese removal in water with low hardness?
It is not recommended. ECOMIX® A performs best when the water contains sufficient hardness ions, which help maintain the optimal balance between all components of the media.
